So I told the kids we would make some chocolate chip cookies from scratch. Kade says "oh the kind that comes in the tube" (okay so that's really all they know) I had to laugh the poor boy. I said no from scratch, you know with flour and sugar. I said okay guys first we need flour. So Serrin says a flower? Okay and she starts to run outside to grab a flower. What sweet little innocence. I love moments like this that make me soooo happy to be a mother and witness the precious mind of a child...
Me and Kade got a good laugh and we took this pic of Serrin with her "flower"!!
This is after one batch is in the oven . Kade would rather eat the dough!
